Due to the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic we want to reach out to ease any uncertainty you may have. We will continue to service our customers as best we can throughout this pandemic - “business as normal as possible” - and we are acting in line with all government guidance. As such we are currently in national lockdown and will therefore be unable to fulfil any studio fitting consultations.

Our website, as always, remains open. We can continue to dispatch gift boxes, our ready to wear range and accessories. Our workshop remains open - at present, our supply chain and production of our shoes is currently unaffected. This means we’re still able to meet our standard 4-6 weeks crafting period.

We’re a small family-run business and as such we value and empathise with every single customer we meet. We’re eternally grateful for all the support during this time and with this in mind we want to reassure all our customers that we will always endeavour to do the right thing by you. We will be happy extend the expiration date on all gift cards bought from November 2019 until August 2021. We hope this will give you peace of mind and allow for your fitting to go ahead at a safe and convenient time for you. To request an extension to your gift voucher please send us the name of who purchased the voucher, address and who the voucher was for to info@handdyedshoeco.com.

The health and well-being of our colleagues, families and customers will continue to take precedent in how we operate through and challenging time. As restrictions are eased and our area moves down the government imposed tiered system - we will continue to follow all guidance and make use of the safety measures we already have in place.

As a resident of Ushaw College we have one way entry to the building with facilities to hand sanitise upon arrival and throughout the building; we have masks, gloves and hand sanitiser in our studio; we politely ask for appointments that you only bring 1 guest with you to allow for social distancing in our studio; and we also have the government test and trace check-in system in place, should an outbreak arise you should be notified by the relevant authorities.

Whilst we are saddened that going into 2021 we’re unable to open our doors and greet our customers with a warm hand shake, we’re confident together we’ll pull through this to prosper in future.
